Thailand hosted the Annual Meetings for the first time since 1991, under the theme, “Thailand’s New Horizons: Empowering People, Building Resilience.” Mario Masaya, Vice President of Technology and Financial Services, led the Council’s delegation.
The USABC delegation held a series of bilateral engagements with senior officials from the Ministry of Finance of Thailand, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Mission to ASEAN, the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, and the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. “This week has reaffirmed the U.S. private sector’s strong commitment to advancing ASEAN’s economic growth, particularly through investment and collaboration in financial services and emerging technologies,” said Mario Masaya, USABC’s Vice President of Technology and Financial Services. “We look forward to deepening our partnership with ASEAN Member States and the U.S. Government to unlock new opportunities for innovation, investment, and inclusive growth across the region.”
