USABC Brings Record Breaking Business Delegation to Singapore, Strengthening Bilateral Ties Under Singapore's New Leadership

From July 14 to 17, 2025, the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) held its 2025 Singapore Business Mission, bringing together its largest delegation of 29 U.S. companies to Singapore. This landmark mission marked a pivotal engagement with key Singapore ministries and statutory boards under the newly appointed Cabinet of Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. The delegation was co-led by USABC’s Interim President & Chief Executive Officer, Ambassador Brian D. McFeeters (ret.) and USABC’s Singapore Committee Chair Oracle, represented by Matis Pellerin, Vice President for Global Government Affairs. This year’s mission aligned with the country’s evolving domestic priorities amid changing global trends.
“Singapore remains a critical market and gateway for U.S. companies seeking to grow their presence in Southeast Asia,” said Ambassador McFeeters. “Leading our largest-ever delegation to Singapore underscores the U.S. private sector’s commitment to deepening partnerships with the Singapore Government in key areas including addressing global trade shifts, promoting regional stability, and advancing innovation,” he added.
Over the four-day mission, the delegation held meetings with the Singapore Government to identify areas where U.S. companies can support the country’s trade and digital transformation priorities. The delegation met with the following senior government officials: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong, Minister for Health Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Digital Development and Information Josephine Teo, Minister for Manpower Dr. Tan See Leng, Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment Dr. Janil Puthucheary, Minister of State for Digital Development and Information Jasmin Lau, Economic Development Board Chairman Png Cheong Boon, Enterprise Singapore Chairman Lee Chuan Teck, National Research Foundation Chief Executive Officer John Lim, and Monetary Authority of Singapore Deputy Managing Director for Markets and Development Leong Sing Chiong. The delegation was also received by U.S. Embassy Singapore’s Chargé d'affaires, a,i., Lisa Liao and senior officers. The delegation will also be meeting Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan at a later date.

USABC’s Singapore Committee Chair Oracle, its Vice-Chairs, Micron Technology, Visa, and BowerGroupAsia, along with 3M, Amazon, Apple, The Asia Group, Bitdeer, Cisco Systems, Citi, Datenna, Expedia, ExxonMobil, FedEx, GlobalFoundries, Google, IBM, Lubrizol, Marriott International, Mastercard, Palo Alto Networks, Pfizer, Roblox, Salesforce, Stripe, Vriens & Partners, and Workday participated in the 2025 Singapore Business Mission.
